I honestly wouldn't worry about it, Sunday mornings are much lighter to begin with and there will be very few day skiers on SB sunday, especially with no new snow. I would factor an extra 30 minutes in. Of course, there's a rolling of the dice every time you head to the tunnel, but barring a crazy accident you should be fine.

this is actually pretty common now, location location, it is happening all over, it's the vail remodel, where they leave one wall standing build a new house 5x larger than the one that was there and get around some loop holes

was in one of the nicest houses in the county a few years ago, just outside of silverthorne, people bought a 500k house bulldozed it and built a new house for around 2.5 million construction budget

another place I know of they bulldozed a shitty aframe and another rat trap house, both long term rentals, built a 10,000 sq ft house in place of both the houses, empty 90% of the year

Sorry I hurt your brain with a little simple supply and demand talk.
my bro has a white jeep sounds just like that, not suprised, might have been his kid driving though

not sure about this supply and demand stuff you talk about, guess there is a big demand for old white people to move here so they can finally live out the dreams they had when they were twenty, but they were too busy raising families and sucking the mans dick, these old white people are more annoying than the dumb ass kids

Bulldozing one house to build another happens all the time, I was talking about bulldozing a housing complex to build a multi-million dollar SFH. If we are talking bulldozing houses, I know a ton of people who have done that. Ptarmigan A-frames are prime targets and for good reason.

How would you even see that? You only have four to five hours of real skiing during your miserable weekend, as most of you cube rats from the front range. As Fred, Mr. Summit Macho Man likes to say, you spend most of your life sucking dick down there. And you're all looking around for senior citizens acclimating. Ha, how pathetic.
I'll be waving bye bye to you suckers tommorow morning after I got mine at the Basin, and you finally made it to the upper lot. Gotta avoid skiing with the minions from cube world. Have fun, asshole. I got mine.

One of the perks of cube life on the front range is they let you leave a little early on Friday so you can rush up the hill and get 3 or 4 runs in before the lifts close or you can stay and slide around on the ice and freeze your ass off night skiing at Keystone. Sweet deal for sure but you do have to make up for leaving early by working extra hours the rest of the week. It's your choice.

Other than gapers all over the place, I shared chairs with Denver residents today who weren't gapers, from what I could tell. I really wanted to ask, wow, you left early to get to this shitshow?

I just don't get Breck. It gets worse and worse by the year. Up high is OK, I guess, but, you have to wade through so much shit to get there. Lord, though, the place is successful and well loved, I suppose.

Could someone in Colorado hit Benny in the face with a shovel?

    Thanks.

You could have asked and the answer would have been "as bad as this is just wait until tomorrow". That's why they left early.

Plenty of people don't care who's a gaper, or where someone's from, or what their career and family commitments look like, or what days a shit show. Some just ski or ride and have a good time with others.

    I like these people.

Well said and that's fine but most who post here tend to look at skiing as more than that, IMHO.

I heard that once today at the bar. I was like, holy shit, really? And then, you turn around, and they're building a huge condo hotel whatever right at the bottom of 8. Holy crap. Texans love to be abused, I guess.

Summit scum making fun of tunnel trash- a term probably coined from someone in Vail. The irony of it all.
