There's lots of trails, we did not hit any of the well known ones, although one of them was pretty dam spicy and extra exciting at night, I'm a clipped in kinda of guy.

I only really know of one, so I guess I need to get off my ass, skip a couple trips to Marin and do some exploring there pronto.
Got in some nice golden hour desert riding this weekend

Smokan how was it down there? Where's the snow line at? Headed down next weeknd.

We rode Porcupine Rim from Sand Flats and there was next to no snow on the trail. We ran into a guy in the parking lot that rode from the top of UPS the day before and said it was fine. It might be different after this week's storm.... but I would guess the snow line was around 7500-8000' last weekend.
Just got back last night. Porcupine was a no-go all weekend. Klondike singletrack, Mag 7 trails and Amasa Back trails were all time though. There were spots on Klondike where I expected a pile of dust, but instead was treated to a tiny hard pack berm. So good.
Town is quiet and the riding is good! Headed back down for Thanksgiving.

^^ Did you do the whole 18 mile "loop"? We rode the eastern half a few weeks ago and I was a big fan, but I'm curious how the rest of the trail is. The trail itself was fun, plus there are a lot of play areas just off the trail on the slickrock sections. I'll definitely be hitting that up again next time.
Yep. Parked at the first trailhead at the bottom of rocky tops and ramblin. Rode it clockwise. Big Mesa was one of the most geologically badass trails I've ever been on, but I found all the trails we rode to be really fun and beautiful.
Not Black Friday.

The la sal mountains are also fun after you get sun burn on the red rock.

^^ Looks like a fair amount of untracked snow. Was that as exhausting as it looks?
Whoops. Have a kid that did that 5 weeks ago, and she's almost good to go. Good luck.
Right as ski season really gets going - bummer.
It's been pretty dry here (Alta is reporting 55" YTD with just a 20" base depth at mid mountain) and looking to stay that way in the short term. Should be good-to-go by February when things are really prime, albeit out of shape. Holy fuck did that hurt though. Broke my scapula too which my surgeon said was pretty impressive.
