We've been getting super lucky with our weekends lately. It basically pisses rain 80% of the time for the last several months here in Raleigh. Local riding blows anyway, but with cold wet weather my motivation is blow zero. For the last three weekends we've gotten to Pisgah, it's been bluebird and the trails are in 1000x better shape than the weather suggests they should be.

Oh, and my wife shreds. Yay for me!

edit: does it seem really hard to upload video? That was kind of a pain in the ass.

Bottom of Corner Canyon next to the equestrian park. Built by the city last year and maintained by Go Ride. Pretty rad.

Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

Grabbed my filthy, creaky bike out of the garage and headed to Moab for the first dirt since November.

Rolled into North Klondike after dark, but too early to enjoy the big moon light.

The more I ride in Navajo Rocks, the more I appreciate those trails. IMO they are the most aesthetically pleasing desert trails around. Such cool terrain.

I keep hearing and seeing that. Missed that spot on my last trip out; will have to make sure to check it out next time!

So much new stuff out there since when we lived in CO, it makes it tougher to choose riding spots.

Fuck. I built this skinny, and nailed it on my first attempt, and every since them. The gods obviously did not smile on me this day.

I rode that last weekend too and gotta agree, some good flow and intermediate tech in there. I also rode Pipe Dream for the first time as an out and back and really enjoyed that.

getting some work done at camp friday before getting the weekend started

Did a nice little tour above SLC this weekend in 70 degree temps. A little lung busting hike a bike, a little getting my ass kicked by athlete friend, a vulture, some loose fall line shred and a super fun Bobsled finish. Great to be riding!

Between sketchy early season avy conditions keeping me at the resort and then an endless fucking chest cold, it's time to get back in shape. Still some water out there, though, with El Nino actually delivering here in Nor Cal. This is my friend... not a bad pic for an iPhone, I thought...

The more I ride this, the less my wife sees it in the house and asks where it came from.

That's funny ^^^^, but likely true, nice ride.
Although 31` the riding today was better than the local skiing in VT.

Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

I can't handle Damian Trollin 26 Sanders' nonsense any further.
    Must bump better threads.

I went to Austin a few weeks ago and rode a 27+ bike right outta town into some fun greasy tech along Barton Springs Creek. Magical little spot, that is. When not picking lines through chunks of limestone, there were beautiful ladies in bikinis hanging out along the creek to ogle. Good times.
This was a fun water crossing.
