just go to berkshire east if thats your criteria. And while it will certainly hasten the demise of the season from the perspective of those occupying the executive suites, i have one more day ticket up for grabs $45. Binky has right of first refusal.

Thanks for convincing me to take the boy west, and helping keep an eye on him getting down. He was so unbelievably stoked to have ski'd Wizard....twice.

So let me get this straight, ON3P's new EC rep basically did an unannounced demo day Sunday at Magic, in conditions that would challenge a GS ski with a 3 degree side bevel to hold an edge?

Where's his next stop, Snow Valley?

"Guerrilla Urban Jib Demo" at the Rutland Home Depot no doubt. Like a flash mob but with more edge cracks.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing the little ones dabble in exploration. The mountain really is like a whole huge world to them and it's great to see them get into it.

Also I love his onezie. Need one like that!

Yep. We (the freeride team) took out half the demo fleet in the morning and were super impressed with how well everything skied, even on Talisman. Several of us took out the Wren and could not even come close to approaching it's speed limit. I don't think I could own a pair of those but they were definitely fun for a couple runs. The Kartel seemed to be much more appropriate for health and safety (and fun) purposes. It is too bad Saturday wasn't the demo day, but it was still cool to take some skis out for a spin on the home turf.

Yup. It was stupid. Glad the Freeriders tried a few pairs. NO interest here to try those clown skis. I looked, not one thing on the rack appealed to me. I don't want/need all that fancy crap to ski firm snow. Nobody makes regular skis anymore.

I'm actually just jealous. I really wanted to get out and try them, and wish I would have known they were going to Magic at any point. I actually reached out the their new EC rep before their last demo tour and offered all kinds of help, contacts etc... Oh well. I tried.

I would have skied them too. Sunday was the worst day all year for this demo. No controlling the weather/conditions,.......I get that. Maybe let someone know you're coming would have been a great idea. Maybe they did & Magic blew it,........no idea. Either way I don't get it.

    See you Sunday binky.

[QUOTE=RustyGroomer;4457374 How about a skier who logged 21 runs Saturday. That's nearly 5 hrs on the Red chair alone. Impressive chairlift endurance right there. ......[/QUOTE]

NOT me for 21 runs. Just acknowledging an impressive feat. I lose track after 3 then they all blend together. Really it's about nearly 5 hrs in one day on the Red chair. That man can ride.

Damn, 21 runs? I didn't think that was even possible. Now I have a powder day standard to meet.

Never happen on a powder day. For this accomplishment it must be fast lapz, dry seats, perfect chair bumps, etc. The standard is in hours. I'm all about the uphill.

Radam and I did the math one day when trying to see if we could ski the entire map in one day (e.g every run on the map). We figured the only way to get there was a skin lap in the morning plus a 5pm closure.

    Impressive feat.

Just saw a $25 ticket and meal deal posted by Magic for the next 3 Fridays. Looks like I'll be taking my second trip there next Friday.
