Since misery loves company, you'll be amused to hear that we're hosting one of the boy's kindergarten buddies, his parents & 3yo twin siblings this weekend... I was further informed that we'll be taking them to Bromley on Saturday because the friend needs a lesson. Swell. I did find one of my balls and demanded (ok, strongly suggested) that we ski Magic on Sunday. At least that was approved. So I'll get to enjoy sloppy 6ths at Magic on Sunday.
Anyone (Peruvian?) know if there anything fun that I should know about over at Bromley? Other than a day cruising groomers over there in December, I haven't ski'd there since I was a kid.

If I wasn't hopping a flight to CO this morning, I'd show you around.
Enjoy CO! At least you'll have some fun this weekend. Safe travels.
Selling lift served skiing for $20 is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Is that the cheapest place in the country? It has to be. I don't get it. I like making a profit almost as much as a powder day.
^^^ haven't you ever heard, "the first hit is free"?
I think the only thing crazier than having $20 tickets on Thursday is how few people take advantage.
Also.. did Magic really "only" get 2 inches of snow overnight? Seems like everyone from Brattleboro to Ludlow got 3-5". Snow hole? Or are we just that committed to underreporting snow totals?
no, is that a drug thing?
maybe because the locals that would take advantage of that are skiing their stratton and bromley passes, or it could be a brilliant plan by magic to keep crowds low.
I think they should put a limit on the number of tickets they sell in a day. It should be just above what the one day high total ever was, and they should advertise the skiing experience, uncrowded slopes,......

Mr. Melon, your wife was just showing us her Klimt.
You too, huh? She's shown it to everybody.
Well, she's very proud of it.
I'm proud of mine too. I don't go waving it around at parties, though.
