heh, trust me, i wish i could like it.

the last visit to the in laws had my wifes dad handing me a pumpkin brew right as we got outta the car. Priorities you know? My wife snickered as i thanked him as she knows what i like and don't like. I suffered thru it with a few nods and smiles, but literally attacked the fridge for a real merican beer after that.

Was fooling around with the upload tools and looking for some decent old videos of mine to put up, found this one I made a few years ago up near Jay when that "Lodge Theory" place seemed like it might have some potential to deliver a real backcountry hut experience up that way. Didn't work out, oh well, but got some fun footage together trying to promote the concept:

Thought the EC mags would enjoy the stoke... someone gimme an address I can send some movies to for that EC Ullrfest at Magic, though, goddamn it! TGR will not be honoring any requests for pumpkin beer kegs, though...

Contact these guys and I'm sure they will point you in the right direction.
Checked in with the state a few days ago and they gave some vague hints. Just figured I'd check in here for any local knowledge.

Worked for me on a computer. I had to skip over the guy talking about synergy with bros (seriously) but enjoyed that distinctive EC tree skiing style: the body English to avoid a trees, the lifting of the tails for a quick change of direction (which might be incorrectly mistaken for "back seat" skiing) when a mere slarve won't suffice. Can't wait...

Oh yah. About 1:30 of fluff to skip through for future viewers.

I'll give DoWork a call this weekend and see if he wants you to send them to him, otherwise you can send them to me. After they're viewed, maybe we can give the two movies to a couple of lucky mags, award style, like BigDaddy used to do.

You should really talk to the boss and have TGR send you out to cover Ullrfest. Could make for a fun 'business' trip.

Was wondering. Kevin appears now and then. You need a bit o base for that season to have any longevity.

Great story roggy. Did it ever occur to you that this may have just been his way of getting rid of his crap beer and not needing to waste the good stuff on his narcissist son in law. But hey, I could be wrong, and he's super proud that his daughter married a 40 year old part time ski tuner.

Just bumping this. Saw about half the threads were started in September. Frequently there is snow in October and we should have a new thread going by that time. Perhaps gravitylover or Vt-Freeheel will step forward as suggested. Wicked nice weather this weekend, but the turn must be in sight.

I would do it, 1st of October as that is the start of the new season. And would give ample time to compile a list of 14/15 events ect.

Awfully nice around here lately, with another week of foliage weather on tap it will be one of the best years ever.

    Deck this am

Couple of screen grabs from todays ride

    Good fun!

Off to MA to see Jeters last stand tomorrow, thanks to BigDaddy!
