Not that long ago, I bought a brand new 3/4 ton truck with all the options I wanted for about $26k. The 1 ton would have been about $30k. If you want a truck that looks like a lexus inside, expect to pay lexus money for it. Why anyone would want a lexus that rides like a truck is beyond me.

My brother and his wife got a 1 ton Dodge about a year(?) ago for $36,000. I was surprised. Figured it was at least 40. You don't need the leather and shiny plastic bits.
    No longer stuck.

Yea, I've done it before, but holy shit this is waaay better than I thought it would be. I think I am gunna keep it as is and see how I like after a road trip or two.

Great video. You notice how ALL of those cars were shown with sticks? Those were the days. Back when Toyota and Nissan had "soul." I wish we still had that kind of huge selection of quasi-affordable sports cars today.

While I credit the survival of Porsche on all these models (I still have a poster in my garage that says "while other car companies have a sports car in their lineup, Porsche has a lineup of sports cars"), I agree.

That said. There is still no substitute.

Love, love, love, Stuttgart - and everything it stands for.

Porsche makes some of the baddest cars on the market. The 991 Turbo S is a monster on and off track. The Panamera Turbo S is one of the best sport sedans on the market. The 918 is the quickest production car made. The Cayman S is probably the purest sport car on the market.

It's tedious reading threads about cars and guns on this forum.

I've put a couple of hundred miles on it and it still makes me smile. The only thing I don't like so far is the gas and brake pedals are too close together. More of a first world problem though.

While I will always love the looks of the Italians, I will always spend my hard earned money on the cars from Stuttgart.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Bushman, first off, great ride! Honest question though, what's your game plan for service when something goes awry on that pretty Italian? (I'm reminded of the time James May describes how Maser placed it's instrumentation on the dash - no offense of course
Something along the lines of "aaah, dis is fine here, it not'a be a problemo...")

I may be making a gross oversimplification but Duluth doesn't strike me as a place with a Ferrari/Maser shop.

Morrie's maserati in Minneapolis is 120 miles South. Archer racing is here in town and there are a coupe of import shops around. There are no BMW/mercedes/audi/porche dealers ether, but tons on the road. I looked for about 2 years for the one I wanted, this on fit the bill as it is only missing the "Skyhook suspension" option I wanted. As far as I can tell only 80 manual (three pedal} were imported in 2004, with 16 color combo's and 10 interior colors and with the vintage package (chrome) this may be the only one like this in the US. Nero exterior and coffee interior with pleated leather headliner. So far its been fun. Insurance is $250.00 a month so I've got that going for me.

Have you checked into an agreed value policy through American/Hagerty/Grundy? Big mileage restrictions so may not work if it's your daily.

There are a few GTs running around here with the same 4.2 L and they sound great. Car looks very clean.
