Boomer needs video games help

Boomer here (duh) with a request for help. My daughter (40) wants me to get the grandsons (4 & 7) a Nintendo 64 set. She has her reasons, so no arguments there. Her request is a Nintendo 64, Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros. Because they live in a really rural area 800 miles away, I'd just as soon get it all via Amazon, or at least one stop shopping/delivery. They do have tons of (like 5) tvs, I don't know the brands or vintage etc,

    Here's my Amazon cart:
Nintendo 64 system (renewed and protection plan)
Mario Kart (renewed)
Super Mario 64 (renewed)
Nintendo 64 controller (renewed)
Some HDMI and AV cords, figuring one of them will be compatible.

I can't seem to find compatible Donkey Kong on Amazon

    Advice/hilarity?

I recently bought a vintage Ninetendo Wii for my kids and i would guess you would need a something that converts it to HDMI male unless one of those 5 TVs are really old and has composite in.
This is 12 pin out to HDMI male and while I cant vouch for it you need something like this for a modern TV thats HDMI only.

    https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-HDMI...07TGJZXWR?th=1

If they have an old TV the N64 should come with a cable that is 12pin to composite like this:

    https://www.amazon.com/N64-NGC-SNES-.../dp/B001TXQA4M

I can't tell if a controller came with the N64 unit but you need 2 total, and 1-2 more if friends come over often.

DK oldies is the website to find what you seek. You will need a converter because the graphics from the old console won’t work on a modern tv. I have an original Nintendo and a N 64 and my converter just shit the bed. All the games she wants are on the Nintendo Switch…..way better idea than the old consoles.

Parents got me a Playstation 2 for xmas 25 yrs ago. It worked with a 1980s era TV I had at the time. When I got a new flat screen TV a few years later I found none of the cables from the PS2 worked. Never bothered to find the right ones and its still sitting in my closet somewhere. Have always wondered if I could get an adaptor to HDMI or something else and run it with a computer monitor. I have an original Nintendo somewhere as well.

Does it look pretty good? I’ve read the graphics on newer machines can look shitty.
