Anyone in the Wenatchee/Leavenworth area have a dynafit jig? I don't have a printer currently to print out a paper jig and don't trust myself to do it free hand. Will provider beer.

    Crystal Update 02/19/14, 4:21pm

"Over the past 4 days we have received an incredible 69 inches of snow it's still coming down! The primary surface conditions are soft powder, and skier packed powder. High Campbell is open and offering some incredible skiing right now. Crews will be out working on Northway for a potential opening at some point tomorrow. Please practice deep snow safety and ski or ride with a visible partner. All operations are weather and conditions permitting."

OH …MY …GAWD! I just had multiple orgasms in my pants and I didn’t even touch myself!
It’s time to pack my pon2oon and hit the road.

My wife got into the Phd. program she applied to at UW. Next fall we will be migrating south. Hope to tour with some of you kooks and I know I will see some of you at Alpy!
But Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard. -Jer

Very sad end to a otherwise perfect day.

Fantastic snow, faceshots all day, semi-refills, met and skied with great folks, light crowd that couldn't ski all the pow and no agro, just stoke level very very high and satisfied all around.

But, those tree wells are not a joke right now. In a few tight spots I felt the tree well collapse beneath me as went by. Be very careful out there. Deepest
condolences to the fam and friends. Very sorry for your loss.

Seattle skier dies at Crystal Mountain
    BY ALEXIS KRELL
    Staff writerFebruary 19, 2014

A skier died at Crystal Mountain Wednesday when he suffocated in a tree well, the resort said.

The 35-year-old Seattle man was reported missing by a ski partner at 2:25 p.m., and was found on a run called Dick's Face by the ski patrol about five minutes later.

Patrol members dug the man out and started CPR, but the skier died from snow immersion suffocation.

“This serves as an unfortunate and sad reminder of how important it is to ski and ride with a partner, and keep them in sight, especially where there’s a lot of new and unsettled snow,” said Paul Baugher, Ski Patrol Director, in a release.

Thank you Ullr for bringing back the goods. Best two consecutive days in recent memory.

But, two fatalities in the last two days does not sit well. Be safe out there people.

It's never as good here as at Steven's/Alpental/Crystal/Baker you must've been high. Seriously it was pretty awesome, probably top 10 for me at Mission. Nothing like faceshots and freshies at 3 pm on a pow day.

snow is starting to consolidate a bit, getting more dense but the skiing is still great.

Southback opened at crystal today and was really good. Snow was definitely starting to consolidate but was still great skiing. North side of the king (east of the peak) and north side of three way slid big before opening

Thanks to the patrollers who got that open

I was pretty surprised they were flying yesterday. Extremely low ceiling and snow falling. Heli ski ops certainly would not have flown in those conditions, but of course there were no mountain landings involved.

sharpened my edges last night, not that I needed to.

Half a foot of fluff in the past 24 at Stevens with another half falling throughout the day made for free refills and over waist deep conditions in the trees if you looked in the right places

Lots of folks out and about getting it today. We didn't find out about the impending pass closure until we hit the parking lot at half-past 2 and saw everyone trying to GTFO and Hwy 2 westbound packed to capacity. Made it down by the skin of our teeth, DOT had already stopped 'em coming up as there were sluffs coming down onto the eastbound lanes
