New toy, I have no clue what I'm doing so far. Bit of a step up from the D300.

They are back. Nat Geo was shooting a reality show here on the bay about ice fishing I guess. Anyway the circus has left town now I can get out there.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

I'm having a hell of a time with the super narrow depth of field that the nifty fifty has. But it's still mighty fun to play with.

    My dinner this evening:
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.

Awesome shots from everybody, but since I'm stuck in a city with no skiing, this one really does it for me...

Some great work the last few pages, I think this thread more than anything pushes me in getting better and better shots in the mountains.

And to change it up a little bit my first successful star photo, pretty stoked on how it came out.
