I used to work in corporate finance/development for a large global business services company, which is what took me all over, including the move to London. But after about 15 years, I quit that job last month because my wife got a job in New Zealand (she's a family physician). For the next year or two I'll be retired basically (taking care of our son/home and playing while she works).

dude, sorry… A lot of rocky foregrounds at a lake. But I got my D7000 back from Nikon for a piddly $230 and I wanted to get out and play with it and on a windy morning long exposures of things that weren't leaves blowing seemed like a good plan of attack. And the dogs dig it and I was back in time to take the wife to hippy yoga in the park at 9 at the River Festival.
