    Hello Friends...The 2013 Masters Thread

Of course I love Tiger this week, but I'm going with Furyk. He should have a lot of accumulated karma after last season, and there's whisperings that he might go with the two driver plan a la Phil. Last time a player did that it was a W.

    Who you got?

Tiger's basically doing that too, heard he was playing around with a strong-ass 3 wood that probably goes further than many players' drives.

Still hoping for Keegan or Kuchar.

I'd like to see another young guy get the jacket. Ricky would be entertaining, but I'm not sure he's there yet.

Kuchar would be nice to see as well, great golfer having a good year and Georgia boy.

My favorite would be to see Rory avenge 2011 and earn that jacket.

His wife gets to theoretically do that every month to the tune of $76,000/month alimony. Ex-wife that is.

Had 3rd pick amongst my friends in our 6 player draft. 5 normal guys, 6th round is wildcard, worth double. I got:

bubba, sneds, oozy, donald, poulty, haas, oleson as a back up if someone withdraws or gets injured, picked in that order. I thought I was going to be able to pick up Furyk in the third round in this crowd. Oh well. I think Tiger is going to win.

A monthly mailbox tradition unlike any other!!!

Good for her. As the corniest man in the history of the world, he deserves it.

Some prop bets released courtesy of CBSsports here.

Badge sales are now averaging $7000 a pop. Lowest Thurs-Sun badge on Stubhub right now is $10,000. Tiger+Final Four two hours down the road in ATL = crazy high prices.

I'm looking at a tiger and rory show down, that would be epic. But nothing could beat that putt by tiger in the masters where the ball stopped on the Nike symbol.

On Sunday it will be Tiger, Phil and Rory at the top of the leader board.

Rory looks like he's losing his confidence as tiger gains it. He definitely doesn't have the mind of an assassin to go with his talent.

Mr. Excitement does have a game suited to this course. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Dufner gives hands down the WORST interviews ever.... kinda funny though, I bet he's actually a pretty funny guy.
... jfost is really ignorant, he often just needs simple facts laid out for him...

Few of my buddies in the PGA know him from home office engagements and Auburn; they say he is hilarious an has one of the driest sense of humors around.

Don't be obsessed with your desires Danny. The Zen philosopher Basha once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.' He was a funny guy.

Shot of the day I just saw on "Live From the Masters": Dufner standing behind Tiger on the range watching him hit driver. Dufner throws in a monster pinch of what looked to be Kodiak and continues sizing up Tiger without even flinching.

My odds for Dufner just went up.

    It was almost Daly-esque.

Ha! Dufner is becoming one of my favorites after not liking him at all when he came on the scene. Dufner on Dufnering: "What can I say? I was tired, my back hurt from sitting on the floor, and we were talking about relaxation and focusing."
