based on what sergio says he believes about himself, a major would have to fall into his lap regardless of his talent.

Pasetiempo is great, but I wouldn't even put that course in the top five that I've played. I did meet Jerry Rice there during a junior tournament, though. As nice of a guy as you could imagine. He was waiting on a par 3 later on and saw me waiting to hit my second on a par five. He walked over 150 yards just to ask me how the round was going.

I want to know something. How on earth do they pay to keep this course the way it is? $10,000 to $30,000 membership, 300 members, and $850 monthly dues. I guess, maybe the $850 monthly dues possibly could cover it, but it just doesn't seem to add up to me, and I guess they do only open the course for 7 months out of the year. Hmmm. Revenue from this tournament perhaps. That would make the most sense, I guess.

Yeah its all revenue from the tournament - they run it, not the PGA tour or USGA. They could also have capital calls from members.

My cousin from Thousand Oaks, he went to high school with the Gretzky kids.

After seeing this thread I asked him if he's ever met this Paulina angel. He said he's not a fan of her because she got a lot of girls in his grade to take up the nose candy habit. Tough to avoid that habit in that area I guess, but still not very admirable. Don't get crazy though, I'm not saying I'd kick her out of bed by any means.

Yep. I hate to say it, but you just know he's going to finish today at or near the top of that board. It's more exciting with him back on his game, I just would rather see about 10 other guys win it.

Apparently he is a slow guan.

But seriously he is the youngest player since Tom Morris in 1865!

It is one thing to make the cut at the masters, but to do that at age 14. Crazy!!

The merchandising alone pays for everything. That tourney is a fucking cash cow. They own and run the whole thing. Everytime you see that little yellow map with a pin in it..$$$$$$$$. My golf pro bud says the club runs a surplus every year but vote to put it back into the facilities. The dues are tradition and are cheap in comparison to some other dbag clubs.

Tiger scuffling a tad on the back. Horrible luck hitting the stick and then ending up in the water.
