Not sure if I have ever signed that, but have signed conflict of interest, intellectual property, I won't misuse company stuff etc.

There is not a paper on I will not be a dickhead and go the press and rat on my company. That is just fired with cause for being a dum ass and you have 10 minutes to clean out your stuff while the brute squad looks on.

This is crap in relation to the subject, we live in a country where we should be able to voice our freedom of speech ESPECIALLY towards government decision makers.

Doug nailed it, most people working in the private sector don't need to be reminded that criticizing your employer is a bad career move. Only a gov employee would need to told that.

My boss is a hudge idiot, luckily I'm self employed and can't be firing for saying so.

Looking at the web cams, Sunshine could still be open with great coverage!

Any rumours out there for Canada Day?

Quite cunting up the stoke thread with politics.

I haven't heard anything about Canada day skiing. Can't see it happening but what do I know.

And thus ends my curiousity if any one ever does this. Crazy. Dissapointed to not see it from the parking lot tourist perspective.

FWIW the wind was REALLY fking strong in K Country today. We were biking round Barrier Mountain & got blown off the trail, ended up walking down a lot of it. It was nuts!

my father inlaw was up at SSV touring today. almost full winter conditions. He walked up the skiout, to TP base, then toured twice up to angle traverse twice, then walked back to the base. Then to our place for a nap at 3:00.

he is 74 years old, and for the past 3/4 years has skied over 1,000,000 ft per season (both touring and chairlifts)

Highwood area still has lots of coverage. Poked around the little highwood area with Mex and Turnip on saturday. Nothing spectacular but good enough for June. No major freeze overnight, at least down lower.

Lots of people lapping the low patches near the road on the ptarmigan side when we got back to the car around 1130. We also talked to a couple guys in the parking lot that bagged that gnarly looking couloir on storm mountain. Anyone on here by chance??

Its cooling off quite a bit down in the valley so maybe we will get a light freeze tonight. Anyone game for some highwood action in the next few days?

Amazing to see that the stoke is still going this time of year. I've been so busy with my job, had little time even to visit the forum, but I cannot wait for next season. In the meantime, I've got myself a mountain bike and done some trails with some buddies from work. Any recommendations on meeting up with others for mtb biking around here, or the fernie area? Is there a similar Canadian Rockies thread in the bikes section on this forum?

That was me a a buddy who I don't think is on the forum. It was extreme hardpack/ice skiing at its best.

Other note did anyone go ski the fresh snow that fell on tuesday night?

I've finally had some time recently to resume working on some edits that I started months ago. Here's one from that huge storm that hit early March:
