I'm talking weight...of course.
I'm 6'3 and normally anywhere from 190 - 200 pounds. Around 198 right now. I'm lucky to have been born a mesomorph with a classic, David-style natural athlete's body. I've been lucky so far, and still have that same exact body-type. But I would also like to keep it that way. I just want to and feel I NEED to streamline it. Even carrying around an extra 7 pounds isn't something I want to be doing.
So this year I resolve to KEEP my resolve and lose maybe 5 or 10 pounds and get my tone back.
To do it, I figure I have to increase my activity level and decrease my food-intake...and most importanly....pay attention to WHAT I eat, as well as how much. All that is obvious, of course....but DAMN hard to actually stick to.
Why in hell is it so much harder to lose 5 or 10 pounds than say it would be to lose 60 or 70? I know the physiologic answer is because I'm already close to my body's natural target weight...and so I'm basically fighting evolution for those last few pounds.
What's youse guys plans?? Need/want to lose?? What's yer plan?
EDIT: I figure if I can get down to 185 to a max of 190, that would work. But I can't escape that my natural body is mesomorph...not a hyper-skinny ectomorph. So..if I get down too much, I'd just look like a prison-camp survivor.
