In our house we have a spare sofa for anyone to sleep on that needs accommodation during the camp.

Going to set the date for Sat. January 21 for a 1 day, and Fri the 20th and Sat. the 21for a 2 day depending on what people want to do.

Price is going to be $499 per "guide / coach" with preferably 6 people per group although 7 can fit if need be. As far as red tape this will be hired out through the Big Mountain Centre with the details already discussed as to what is entailed.
*price does not include lift tickets* You will notice that this price is the same as what's listed on the KH website however keep in mind that the goal is different. To get a comparison, lessons at LL are $559 and the max size is 5 people and the focus is not the same... IMO this is a good value based on what we are doing.

So to simplify this a bit specify if you are still in based on those dates and pricing...obviously the per person price is going to fluctuate based on the total amount of people. It would be helpful if you set a maximum you want to spend for 2 days and 1 day.

- T2C open to either 1 or 2 day, max for 2 day is $170 max for 1 day is $130...
(which means that for me to proceed with either a 1 or 2 day we need a total of 4 people!) Notice I rounded up a bit for tax or whatever...

In or out?...as far as some wierd number of more than 1 group less than 2 groups the goal is to keep the costs down and there is a chance that not all are going to find all decisions fair in which case basically too bad. The goal is to try to get mags in on this at the cheapest rate that works for the majority.

Price is dependent on the amount of interest. i.e if we have two full groups of 7 people for two days, the price will be around $140 for two days, more if less then 7. If we do the two day camp, one group will be with myself the first day and switch with the other coach the next. We both have different skills to offer and I think it would be benifical for both groups to get to ski with both coaches. We will also do some work as a large group, but if we tried to do it with 14 people all together, we would gang-rape the shit out of anything we skied.

Have not checked in a while, this Kicking Horse camp sounds pretty damn tempting. Personally I really think the most benefit would come from a two day camp.

Not dropping my name in solid just yet but ..... I will be watching this and a strong chance I may participate in this.

Perhaps as a bump for interest here is why to me this is so interesting:

There are alot of us that have been here a long time on the forum, but most of us have never met.

Most of us are pretty good skiers in our own regards, the crew of us all skiing together would raise bars and push envelopes considerably.

Some very high quality instruction and guidance at a great resort .

Strong potential for a wicked good party.
