Indeed. May is the new March

daddy needs some mobetta tourin gear.
You should hook up with Pnut for some runs, he's given up on touring gear as well.

Man those early morning inbounds shots looks so awesome, wish I had it in me to get moving early today. I can't believe it's still that good.

Instead Josh and I got a crack of noon start and it seems the storm forecast for tonight moved in super early. We got nuked on while on a mission up north...

Conditions were welded wind board with a skiff of snow on top... Fine billiard table skiing but not epic pow. Sure was pleasant though. Can't wait to see what's next!

Tone, how far could you drive up fairy? And did you sled the rest of the way in, or walk?
I've still never skied that thing in midwinter conditions. Cool to see the pics.

On an unrelated note, I'll be flyin out today to begin my trip to Peru.
Super stoked! See y'all in a few weeks... I expect more awesome skiing photos when I get back.

EDIT: it appears that Brackett is reporting another 20 inches from a little more than an inch of water (since 2pm yesterday). Holy shit! Blower pow on huge smooth base! Go get 'em, fuckers

God damn. 20" and still falling. Keep bringing the stoke...I'm living vicariously through this thread until Saturday.

TreeBombs, is that the No-tel Motel in Tucson? Or is there another one somewhere?

FKNA, so many awesome lines to pork out up there this week. Without a doubt some of the best skiing of the year for me. Some more pics to throw up when I got the time.

5/6: Nasties and Phone Booth area looking sick:

It skied pretty good too. Josh:

Next run further over on The Nose. It was puking so hard:

The 7th was even better. More on that later.

    Continued thread hijack:

I was just so stoked to ski in Slushmans on a great day without the lifts running again.

    First tracks weren't bad:

    Colter was stoked:

    As was Will:

    Deep:

Mike's second time skiing powder, first time on a real ski setup:

    Will:

This is for all those who shame their families by carving out the most hideous gaper trench in North America. Sure is beautiful today.

    Still plenty of elbow room:

    Happy Place:

    This is Emily:

    See Emily Rip:

I love tilted limestone in all it's forms. Preferably smothered in perfect spring powder:

Snow started sliding around from the sun so that was all. Got to ski a sweet little spine that I never got on before, really nice. I bet Saddle was amazing, but I just love the terrain in Slushmans proper when it's good.
