Sorry I missed this. The Dude is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. Really close to a Berner though. Short hair and a bit bigger.

Very cool. Never seen one before. Bigger than a Berner, huh? I've seen some pretty big Berners, Dude must be enormous! I need to get a dog like him to carry a couple cases of beer on backpacking trips...

Eagle Spreader - Thanks! Jack is built like a linebacker - not real bulky but all solid muscle and athelticism.

Wow Vicious, very cute. Handsome dog too He's a big dude but he'll definitely get bigger. Our oldest swissy didn't top out til he was 4 (almost 140lbs). Probably won't get much taller, but he'll definitely fill out quite a bit in the chest (and head if he's not fixed). Fun, fun dogs!

Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.

Seize the day, trusting little in the future.

if you want something, go after it. if you want to screw someone over, look DEEP in your heart and realize Karma is a bitch

    Holy shit, that's hilarious!

Trainwreck - Freyja is a Norwegian Elkhound, no?

Not the best picture, but I couldn't get him to hold still long enough... Jack from earlier today:
