Yes, the "flying feather duster" (you have to see her run ) is an 8 month old Elkhound.

Fantastic! I wish I'd gotten into BC skiing when Tor was still young enough to go with me. Love my Elkies.

Here's an album with some pics of Tor through the years:

I am really looking forward to next winter when she is fully grown and we can tour together.

That picture of the bulldog with mud all over his face makes me laugh every time I look at it

Just going through a few pictures from this winter and found this one of Sandy playing with her friend Kona:

It's been 8 months now since I picked her up from the shelter. She's been a great friend so far.

this is Ben, the nicest gordon setter you could ever meet. he's my bf's family pound puppy, they called him gentle ben. there's good reason.
also, he's the closest dog to a coffee table you could meet. getting older, but still the word "walk" will get him bucking like a bronco, all four legs off the ground. it's quite amazing, especially for a dog his size...

this is our friend's dog, kitla.
he's super rad, and makes great faces all the time. a fun dog, he visits our house more often than any other dog. also, he is maniacally addicted to sticks. the best retriever ever. he throws the stick/ball/whatever at you, and if it misses you and you don't go for it, he'll try again.

and since we don't have our own dog, i'll add some of my sister inlaws puppy before he got big. he is now about twice the pictured size.

he really likes to bury his rawhides in the covers... it was hilarious...

and those puppy legs all over the place... gotta miss the puppy stage...

car parts, whisky, gin, and visqueen... ah... oh, and our home depot "oops" paint at $5 a gallon.. that salmon color on the floor has been pretty nice in the dark winter months... and you can't see the sesame street orange stairs...
