Yea, the fox was pretty bold, I think someone's been feeding it. The sly little bitch tried to steel the nozzle off my camelback and also walked up on top of my car. Cool little creature though. I have to confess I tossed it a cashew to get it to jump in the car. Oh well, its not like its a bear or anything.

Heres my blue heeler mix, Snarls Barkley, doing one of his favorite things.

He's 12 now, and starting to slow down a bit, but still thinks he's a puppy.

    Love that about heelers.

LJ, what's your heeler mixed with? Revo the menace heeler is all heeler, and all menace. Almost 6mths and you'd swear he was a lab. Loves water, if there is no ball or stick he'll just go and swim around like an otter. Do heelers like water like other "water" dogs?

My roommates' new pup, A-Z, or Ada for everyday use.

I think the potato gun proved the stability.

I'm not too sure, but I think mine is a heeler/german shepard mix. If anyone has played the game Fallout 3, he's a dead ringer for the dog in the game, dogmeat.

    Game doggie:

    And my doggie:

Supposedly the dog in the game is modeled after the dog from mad max, which was a pure blue heeler, but you can tell the dog in the game (just like mine) is almost twice the size of a heeler.

My heeler loves water, but will not swim on his own unless you throw a ball. Without something to chase after, he'll just wade around. He didn't see water until he was 9 though, so who knows. I don't think heelers really have the water instinct, but that doesn't meant they cant learn.

    I love this thread!
None of these dogs are mine... Went on a hike near Priest Lake in N. ID over Memorial Day.
My friend I were shuttled across the lake by boat. There was a bit of a dogger jam on the way

Once we nosed into the beach Hailey and Maddie wanted none of getting booted off the back. They are elderly ladies and prefer fishing

Gabby and Sada don't mind the water

Good friends that play well together aren't too tough to find in the lab world

They'll even pose for dumb pics

As long as they get to couch out after the 12 mile hike with constant swimming distractions.

    Cause and effect.

A lot of running and ocean swimming leads to unusual sleeping positions.

Took Hugo to work on Sunday and this is how I found him after going around and watering some trees.

And some others from when he was a little younger.

Bump for dog stoke and the power of such amazing creatures
So one of the therapy dogs in our organization Patty was hit by a car and her back legs are paralyzed. Her owner got her a cart and she is back to work bringing smiles to the faces of kids at shriners hospital.

Last nights visit was really rewarding seeing this and remeeting an English family from Hong Kong who remembered the names of the two now deceased dogs they met over 5 years ago.

My dog ate my favorite flip flops today. She got a good swat, but after these new posts, I am off for a quick hug.

I just worked it out to get a yellow lab, been waiting since I was about 4 years old, finally works out
I pick it up on August 8th, couldn't be more stoked
I went and saw the litter a few days ago and they're a bunch of little rats but very cute nonetheless. I'll post pics when I get her but this is enough stoke for me now

^^^ My dog charlie does that at St Mary's glacier every time. He'll slide a good ways down if it's not too suncupped.
