Here's some more pics of Sampson for ya...

I love this meathead. He cracks me up!

Here he is in mid jowel-flap while playing in the yard.

Sampson and the other pup, Bun the French Bulldog.

Hangin' out on the couch with yours truly. Yes my shirt says "Get Work, Do Work." I know you're jealous.

Looking very Bowser-like in a leglock.

    Another one in the yard

This is what a doggie treat sees just before its death.

    Best thread on TGR.

Hopefully I can add some doggie stoke in the near future. My brothers and parents back east are checking out the local shelters looking for a wiener dog. My goal is to get it swimming in our pool all summer.
Unfortunately, no big dog until I'm done uni and have my own place.

Dowork, your dog is awesome. I love when their lips (jowls?) get stuck inside their bottom teeth. So cute

My parents have a rescue springer named Zippy who is in her golden years (currently 15!) but is still surprisingly spry. They don't call them "springers" for nothing... Back in her youth she could jump straight from the ground over the banister onto the deck- and of course up onto our picnic table to eat grilled meats when my dad's back was turned

she is/was a hunting machine, too. zippy and linus tramping around the woods in north conway:

Thank you! I love grabbing him by the big, flappy jowels and refusing to let go- pulling them (lightly of course) and telling him "Dood! Your sweater is too big! We gotta return it! AAAAARRRRGH!" he is a goofy bastard and loves playing.

Thanks for all the pics. They always bring a smile to my face.

Vizsla and the wirehaired are both pointers. The mix does make sense. Certainly, the bird count does confirm that.

Man oh man, if I only had a picture from way back when when my German Shorthair came out prancing of a honeysuckle patch (after going on point) with a live bird in her mouth. That was a helluva image and often how I remember that dog. She was so proud. Keep the stoke coming.

My wiener dog doesn't like snow...and she hates to swim...good luck on getting yours to swim though...

She is a hunting dog at heart...
