First I'd like to thank everyone for their replys.I think pegleg(response#46)
    opinion matches mine.

as i placed the "manifesto" where everyone could find
i heard squeaky bindings coming up from behind
my chest grew quite tight,a pain formed in my belly
"who would be approaching on those well worn tele's"
as i turned apprehensive, just whom did i see
but the legend of the backcountry, the ol' B.C.B
i said i was sorry, for this letter was not meant for him
then my emotions took over, tearing thru my thin skin
"the trails will be destroyed" ,"impassible i said
then turned and walked away with my lowered head
i had just yelled at the man who has always been kind
and tell me the names of the sweet lines i would find
the next day i heard my words were on T.G.R
not only on red poles and at local bars
    i thought"well equalizer,maybe you've opened some eyes"
as i drove to summit county to buy my disguise
should i have hung up the signs?i guess we'll wait and see
and apologies again to the ol' B.C.B

i am not "respect others" it was not dictated.just a great friend and ski partner

I find this very humorous coming from somebody who lives in Florida. Dude if you move to NY, tele'ers are everwhere.

    Tele-Attitude

Wow. This guy is causing quite a stir in our quiet little town. He thinks Steamboat is bad . . . Good thing he can't go to Alta and experience some real tele-attitude.

If you reached here without reading this whole thread, do yourself a favor and go back and read it. It is entertaining on several different levels.

Ahhhh the memories that come flooding back from reading this post-

For those that were around before the massive exodus from PowderMag :

This thread reminds me of the war of words that took place in regards to the "Pain Train" traveling across the High Traverse @ Alta.

It has nearly approached the same level of drama.

    Memories

^^^ Even with Alex on my side I don't think I would want to piss off that many boarders. Might as well just put in a lift back there.

Does anyone see similarities between the "tele-nazi's" and the typical bicyce commuter?

Wowza, maybe it's me - but it sounds like BURT BRONSON got released from SuperTopo.

Last I heard BURT was doing some real climbing in real mountains. His words should be headed.

    ...

Assholes are assholes, and it has nothing to do w/ their bindings.

I am getting tired of all of the tele nazi bs and I am a long time tele skier.

Tele skiers have been de-evolving over the last several years from mellow folks looking to get away from the ski areas into agro gear head yuppies. Equipment advances have helped people hop up on tele skis and into the bc rather quickly. Gives people a superiority complex.

That being said the posting might be a little harsh but you got to like his balls. Those are fighting words, he better be able to back it up.
