Now the other part of that story, Huckwheat, was the crash 3 weeks before the dental crushing. As you may remember, I crashed going mach looney and ruptured my eardrum and was bleeding out of my ear. Sadly, no pics of thatOriginally Posted by Huckwheat

Me and the bike took a bit of a break after those two crashes. Come to think of it, I better knock on wood since I haven't had a bad crash yet this summer.![]()

I put it in the bike forum already but it's all I have. My bike pedal went in through the top point and peeled the triangle back so the whole thing folded open in a square.
After it was stitched up.

I should have taken a pic of my leg when my pedal put a 3" gash in my shin and ended with a puncture wound to the bone. I was bleeding all over the place after my first downhill run of the day. Went back to the truck, doused it with alcohol, patched it up and did 3 more runs that day. I was walking kinda funny for a week after that. Still have the puncture scar from that one, it was about 4 years ago.
Puncture scars and road rash, so hot.....

Not sure the definition of carnage? I paid a doctor to do this to me, but it did involve both upper and lower jaw getting broken.

Huckwheat I can't see the pic but did you get jaw surgery with braces and all that excitement? I'm getting my upper jaw done and maybe I'm glad I can't see your pic.

Oh yeah....year of braces, then surgery (upper and lower), then 7 more months of braces. Wasnt that bad really.....get a good food processor and you can eat anything (liquid diet really just means mashed potato style: pizza, burritos, pasta meals, all goodOriginally Posted by bigtrubs

This is a work injury where my partner shoved a piece of heavy piece of steel and caught my thumb in between the steel and more steel.
Good times.
