In the past, they continually sucked me in, I'd talk to them, but them drinks, listen to their dumb comments and their stupid veiws about the world, try real hard to keep their attention away from the other guys offering to buy them drinks, and maybe just maybe in the end, I'd get some play. However, even if I did, the whole time I'd still be thinking about how much of a dumb cunt the girl was, and it really wouldn't be all that enjoyable.
Now, as a rule, I do not buy girls drinks at bars, unless they're a friend of mine and I feel like being nice.

Dumb and Hot (and I would add high maintenance) describes each of my last 4 serious girlfriends. Its like a fucking drug....you go to the bar, fight through the sea of guys around her...actually win, take her home, feel a sense of accomplishment. Something about taking home the girl everybody is staring at is very satisfying....for about 3 months. Then I have a strong desire to push them out of a moving car. But, you keep going to the bar, keep feeling that air of superiority over your less fortunate brethren and keep talking yourself into sticking it out.
