I played some good golf. And some bad golf. Great fun.

OH fuck, what a trip. yes we were drinking...heavily. hang over from hell this morning. Did some true moutaineering by snowfire's definition(going very slow up a mountain while feeling like shit from drinking too heavily the night before). Our packs were WAY too heavy with full winter backpacking gear, plus full ski/snowboarding gear and touring setups.

The snow SUCKED. Skinning up we would break through the upper freeze into rotten snow. On the way down from the one mountain we did (mt. watson) each time I would turn, I would break through the freeze and fall into 2 feet of facets which would promptly slam my knee caps into the freeze and try and throw me over the handle bars. By the time we got to the bottom we just decided to fuck it and head home. Back on goes the 60lb packs and out to the car again.

We got home aroudn 8:30 and ordered a pizza. We are both sore. Good exercise, but that was about it. We got in about 4K of vertical and 5 miles of skinning/hiking

I weighed my pack when I got home.
The pack alone was about 45 lbs.
Add another 20lbs for my tele boots, ski's poles. ETc

I had mad beer farts yesterday as well.... it was bad, I was scared to go anyone in public after i went to the gym and was repelling people left and right, probably one of the funnier experiences of the whole weekend.

And now today I have the beer shits........


On another note, I ran into my friend at the bars on saturday night, who also coaches the PC freestyle team and he said he would look into hooking up access to the water ramps at the olympic park this summer..... nothing like free access to water ramps!!!

I don't know about that, but certainly have had my forearm cramp up and my fingers kind of lock up after something like the nastiness of freebird on expert(the solo nastiness, and no I can't quite pass it yet)
