Just back from Arabba, good untracked powder all week long. below 2000 m was crust after thursday. This however has been taken care off. 30 cm fresh on the ground this morning as we left. 30 cm more expected today.
TR to follow later.
What a week it was![]()
two nice days in verb. no new snow, but very few people on the mountain. Looks that alagna-gressoney is the place to go right now. they got the most of the last storm
Last days were nice, today was to crowded. We skied some freshies on/around the mt. Gele. Tomorrow i'm gonna check out the bs. mt Fort depending on the weather. Think there sould be some possibilities there. Hopefully we can ski some nice spring snow near Savoleyres later in the day.

Anybody up for some big ski tours? Piz Bernina? Barre des Ecrins? Grand Paradiso? Jungfrau? Monch? I'm having trouble finding partners for these objectives. Send me a PM if interested!

for some reason the Dolomites are not popular around here can't realy figure out why.
You're right about the snow coverage it has been a shity season there untill 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure about the off piste skiing. Although there are signs that it is forbidden it's also promoted on the official website http://www.dolomitisuperski.com so that doesn't make sense. I guess routes close to the piste were avalanches could harm people on the piste are a no go. I don't see a problem elsewhere.
HELLO SPRING, HOW ARE YOU TODAY ?

i didn't ski today, but here in la grave yesterday it was still great. i did chiroze (left), pan de rideau, and la voute.
all were great, chiroze was epic, a bit wind affected at the top but amazing after, the pan was deep at the top of the glacier, and la voute was good but more spring skiing off the glacier
it's still great here, but i think this week could see the end of the big epic runs. it's already a long hike/scramble if you ski down to road
fyi: it snowed about 35cm in Engelberg. And it is snowing in the upper valis right now.
tomorrow should be a fun day in e-berg. edit: it's clearing right now. lucky for those who made it up today. may be the last pow day for a looong time.
And mid/long term.![]()

warm and dry (3-4° warmer than normal as always this winter) in the next 3-7 days may develop into record warm/dry (5-6 or more degrees) from the 11th onwards.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.
