Negatory good buddy. Repeat: Fat Kid, at Sidecar. 10-4, over and out.

Goldminer's is good though. Plus usually the company is good too.

Thanks for reiterating that point. I didn't get it the first three times it was made.

If we can sift through 50 TRs extolling Utah powder you can deal with a few posts about our tiny piece of the universe.

    TR- Sette Bella

So after reading this thread last night, I decided to move a lunch appointment for today from Oasis Cafe to Sette Bella. When DisArray says its new, he's not kidding- the smell of drying paint was almost overwhelming. Staff was a little anxious, and the hovering manager/owner was a little much, but not different from any new joint hoping to succeed.

Overall, it was really good. Nice and light w/ the right amount of fresh mozzarella, sauce and a very authentic crust (crispy edges and kinda chewy center). More like stuff I've had in SF than in NYC or Chicago. If you're looking for a really hearty doughy pizza this is not the place. Given a range of to I'd give it a solid ...b

Actually they have fairly decent pizza at the Stone Haus in hte middle of Solitude. It used to be a convenience store and they turned it into a pizza-and- ice cream joint this year. It's not horrible.

Dude, you HAVE to go to Dinosaur BBQ, and post a TR, there will be at least one server that could fog up your lenses proper.
    Where are you staying?

I have suggestions, I am sure...

Ask wherever you are staying if they know of a good Luna Pizza joint on the Northside...NOT to be missed, if you have never had a Luna slice. Sublime.

Holiday Inn Liverpool not far from airport.

Bunch of guys from the forestry conference went last night and they were raving about the place. And then very hungover in the am. I gots to be up at 4 to head to Pittsburg and then to Morgantown and am going to most likely stay here. I should have gone last night.

Ahh, Liverpool...some interesting things up there, but not like closer in to the city.

Could you get a shuttle van to take you down to the Dinosaur?

15 minutes, Tops. Buy the shuttle driver a pulled pork sandwich, unless of course, he/she is muslim or Kosher. Either are doubtful in the 'Cuse.

They won't do it tonight cause it is dumping currently. Roads are a mess apparently. I see white roads, but I drive a Subaru. I hope I get out of the airport on time in the am now. But it is only 4.6 miles.

You could be right. I generally don't eat pizza. I just make the occasional exception at Goldminer's because it's so damn good....

ESTE is the BEST in UTAH

Props to Sidecar in PC. It's definitely one of the best spots in utah and takes the crown for park city pizza.

BUT, I can't believe no one mentioned ESTE. ESTE is true NY Style. It's located behind the UTE car wash on 2100 S and around 800 E. They do season pass discounts, and sponser local freeriders for the snowbird comp every year.

I have eaten Big Apple, Rusted Sun, Wasatch, Divanza's, The Pie, Stoneground, Freewheeler, Sidecar and many other claim to be pizza joints in Salt Lake.

    Nothing compares to Este.

I have lived all over the east coast and grew up on pizza. I consider myself to be a pizza snob and ESTE is on my top list.

However, I was chatting with Dave, the owner of ESTE about Sette Bella and he was impressed. He says if you're looking for authentic italian pizza it's the spot. NOT NY Style, but authentic italian. I take his advice seriously. He has traveled the country and has folded pie at all the great pizza joints, east coast and west.

    just my 2 cents.

Did the Sette Bella the other day. It's good, really good. I would say, authentic, italian style pizza. This New Yorker still prefers his home-town slice but Sette's was a nice change up. Lots of olive oil, good sauce, not a lot of cheese, pretty light crust. 45 seconds in thier brick oven. I was hoping for more of the rumoured "hot italian waitresses" but there was only one. She WAS hot, but prolly all of seventeen years old.

    I'm going to hell.

    Next up: Este.
