    Best Pizza in Utah...

Sette Bella. It is right next to Red Rock Brewery on 200West and 300South. It just opened last weekend. I just ate there. It is seriously the best pizza I have ever tasted. Hot italian waitresses. Incredible pizza. Try it. Mmmmmmnnn...

I will never eat at Stoneground or the Pie again.

Unless it's better than Wasatch you can eat a bowl of dicks for wasting our time. If it's better than the Big Dub then shout it out.

I think disarray is pretty safe from the dick eating...just about anything, save little caesars is better than Wasatch.

Stoneground is $ though I'm willing to check it out if it's better than stoneground or the pie.

Dis, we'll check it for sure.

Shmoe, you really don't like wasatch? Honestly if you think Wasatch is that bad we must have had viciously different experiences. I can understand someone not thinking it's the best, but to say it's on the level of li'l skeezers is retarted.

What can I say??? my office actually orders in wasatch all the time. The toppings and sauce are fine...its the crust. It tastes like cardboard...same with little caesers, 5buck pizza, papa johns, and the stuff they have at costco. Good crust will come from the pie, stoneground, smokey mt, and several bars(bayou, molly greens) all have good crusts.

I've been in SLC for just over 5 years now and I still don't get this cities love affair with The Pie. I think its some of the nastiest, greasiest pizza I've had anywhere.

Thanks for the tips on Sette Bella. Can't wait to try it...b

The Pie is ass. Typical Utah pizza, drowing in quadruple cheese and grease with mediocre toppings. Wasatch is nothing great, but I'll take so-so crust over cheese-induced constipation any day. Also, I like their sauce.

If you haven't tried Este or Rusted Sun...well...you should.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

All right, just WTF kind of pizza are we talking about here? I've had wasatch, and it's not pizza. I've had a couple other joints 'za at work and I don't kow WTF it was. As far as I'm concerned, the ONLY pizza in UT is Big Apple on 33rd south.

If this bella whatever is NY style and the real deal I'm all for it but so far everything that I've been told is pizza in utah is shit.

    Oh yeah, and...

It's italian style pizza. Super fresh ingredients and wood fired.

    Wasatch 'zza: good.
    Bohemian Brewery 'zza: better.
Porcupine wood-fired 'zza: best. (and the lady waitresses don't hurt either).

    That is all.

I'll admit, in my travels i have found hidden gems for quality pizza in the most unlikely of places. Usually though, recomendations outside of Chicago and the North East have been disappointing. The key is the sauce...

I'm skeptical, but it's closer to my house. I''l gice it a try one of these days. Hopefully it'll be worth it just for the waitresses.

The correct answer is Fat Kid Pizza, located in the Sidebar (A PRIVATE CLUB FOR MEMBERS) up in Park City.

I thought a sidecar was that extra shot the state gives you the privilege of buying so that your drink doesn't taste like water?

What no Tony Caputo's? Actually I have no clue about good pie in SLC or if Tony even sells pies, but his ingredients look good.

Oh and pie in Italy is just ok.

I don't know if you guys got something like a Proto's over there, but the Proto's in Bouldenver are pretty tasty.

edit: Beaterd, what is tech about pizza?

The best pizza in Utah is at Goldminers.

AG is correct and this thread has inspired me to get a pizza in Syracuse here and have some REAL pizza. I have about 10 more minutes to salivate like my dog. TR to follow. Syracuse pale ale on tap downstairs and I think one or more will be in order.
