    wow, cool link..

"However, if the alaskan block does develop, some very cold air will evetually pour into Canada and evetually the US, and the last half of January could get quite cold an interesting. IF the NAO were to go negative by mid-month to accompany this Alaskan blocking, we could be in for quite a ride. Many of us with colder January and February forecasts are counting"

    Nope.
Even the Jackson turns don't have frost heaves.

I'm gonna have to go with this one. Definitely a splatter job with plenty of moving water to clean up the mess and not make it hard for the campus EMTs.

Exactly! The fence isn't very hard to climb either. Worse case your body makes it all the way to swimming hole at the bottom of Fall Creek Falls to rest with all the lead pellets from Ithaca Gun Works.

Even better- do it in the winter and they have to wait until the spring thaw to drag you out. We had two of these during my tenure.

Ahhh Ithaca. If you like the weather just wait 5 minutes.

I remember hearing about that. Kid was stuck for a couple of days.

We had a kid jump from the upper Fall Creek bridge the day before Graduation. He had a job lined up too.

So did anyone actually ski this weekend? Or did everyone simply sit around and whine, or complain about other people's whining.

I mainly just sat around and whined and then got upset because other people didn't agree with my extremely profound comments. Then I watched some guy eat a 1 lb burger with every imaginable condiment except bbq sauce.
