What is the Highest you have ever been?

I skied from the top of Mt. Apharwat in Kashmir at night under a full moon in Feb 04. That's probably the highest I've ever been ever at slightly over 14,000 feet. Runner-up was probably some barely sub 14er in CO in 1995.

Otherwise, it was December 3rd 2003 in Sayulita Mexico after downing about half a bottle of Radness then making a bong out of the bottle and "testing" it, then once the munchies set in, eating about 1/4 of a batch of brownies made with 1/2 a breadbag worth of pot.

I was pretty much non-functional for 18 hours and haven't touched the yerbage since.

Runner-up was 4/20/94 Pink Floyd Oakland Coliseum.

Don't know if this counts, but I've been in a small plane at 18,000. It wasn't presurized, and I wasn't using O2, so I was breathing 18,000 foot air, just was inside a plane.

My dad has a 50 year old plane that is capable of flying at 50,000, I really want to take it that high someday. I just think it'd be cool to tell the 737s to watch out for you as you climb past them in a single engine prop plane.

i have summited pico de orizaba 18,570. i have skied from 13,900 on wilson peak near telluride. tried to ski from pico's summit, but was shut down by huge penitentes.

A Supermarine Spitfire did it once, then promptly fell out of the sky. (Pilot recovered it at 3,000 feet. Lucky sumbitch.)

Likwid got the plane right. A Mk IX to be exact. Its real service ceiliing is actually like 48,000, which can be done safely, and has been done more than a few times I think. I figured I'd round up. Same difference right?.

I was wondering that. I thought my high would be A-Basin and looked at the map. The peak is over 13k but the lift service is alot lower. I am sure others will chime in.

Mt. Biking, 16,500 feet, Punto olympico Peru (huascaran) Snowboarding, I dunno. Pretty high.

Edit: 30 accidental hits of (real) liquid, dead show, Saratoga Springs, 1985. I was convinced that during the break between drums/space, the band sacrificed a human every show, and at this show, i was the one. freaky.
