What is the Highest you have ever been?

All this discussion of high altitude death has me thinking that the crew of Maggots has been pretty high...

    For me:

    On Skis 11,450 ft (Vail)
On Foot 17,769 ft (Thorung La pass - Annapurna Circuit, Nepal)

The top of Pali at ABasin is 12500ish, isn't it? Is Loveland higher?
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

14,400, so not that high. But I still reserve the right to tell people how they should feel at 20k,

I think Loveland tops out at very close to 13,000. The new lift at Breck is about the same.

I was wondering that. I thought my high would be A-Basin and looked at the map. The peak is over 13k but the lift service is alot lower. I am sure others will chime in.

Found these lists but they are not complete and they don't represent lift service.

Gosh I've been high so many times I'm not sure if any one experience was higher then another.

As far as the non pot smokin kind of high goes somewhere in the 14000 range for me. I've hiked Long's, Grey's, Torrey's, you know all the easy 14ers. Ski wise I guess it would be either top of A-basin, or that peak next to Long's, I forget it's name (maybe I have smoked to much pot)

    14,433 (Elbert) - on foot

Top of Norway lift (higher than Pali) at A-Basin - ~12,900? - on skis

~45,000 ft in a 747 avoiding turbulence. The pilot actually pointed out the curvature of the earth. Really neat to see.
