    Loveland Friday?

Anyone headed up tomorrow? I'm favoring Loveland over WP/Keystone/AB since I've only got 3-4 hrs to ski and its a little closer. Any feedback from today at any of those places? If you're going to be up there, you can recognize me by the green Bros.

Windy as fuck Everything was windscoured, but it was buttery smooth. Not all that deep. North Chutes were the deepest but had that layer of wind crust on top. I saw a few good beaters from Chair 9 in there today. Patrol Bowl had the most snow on the Ridge. Uh, well that's about it.

So is it worth it tomorrow, or should I check out WP's 21 inches?

21 inches seems a lot more than the 7 loveland was reporting. i am going to loveland saturday and skiing backcountry tomorrow and sunday.

loveland was $$$ yesterday for storm skiing, but I cannot speak to the veracity of the conditions today.

loveland pass was money today, there was maybe 5 or 6 cars in the bottom lot all day and lots of people driving up for rides. got pretty tracked up but some of the hike to runs on the other side of the bowl(ie. idiots cornice) look soft, but very wind loaded, set off a few very small slabs today so be careful...

Z, I'll be there for sure. I may DP with Marsha beforehand, but will call you when I get there regardless.

Cool, was gonna call you. Don't think I really need to DP tommorow but I guess it's possible. Berthoud should be effin deeep, but I'd rather actually ski as opposed to 3 runs. we'll see.
    Drive slow, homie.

Fuckin' pussies and their going uphill.

I'm the pussy. I'm not skiing tomorrow due to GNARLY shin bang (and the fact that some lady found my ipod today and wants to give it back at 8 am). Plug boots suck for pain but are great for skiing. I'll spend the next 2 weeks recuperating and would LOVE to huck some meat when I get back.

Have fun, guys. Bummed I can't get the BROs up to speed in the funky steep stuff (although I sorta did that today and wasn't that impressed). Git 'er dun, and make sure to wipe when you're finished.

(Fun skiing with you today, btw, schral and Z).

I'm on the fence about it. Didn't sleep much last night anticipating today and got shut out.

    Call you in a few.

Bert it is tomorrow for me. Meeting at the top of the pass at 8am or so.

Max, shinbang isn't an excuse. I have been skiing on four of the most painful blisters for the last six days. And it is even more painful skinning...

sack up and show up tomorrow.

smokkan, I'd be dishonest if I didn't say that Winter Park was really fucking good today. The trees only this afternoon became skiable because before then, it was too deep and there werent enough tracks to get speed on......
