I know when I checked the NOAA forecast at like noon today it had 8 inches of snow accumulation at Mt Hood on Monday night. Now it doesn't have any. Tomorrow's NWAC forecast will be interesting to compare to today's.

Well, if you guys are the only ones getting snow in the next few weeks...good chance I may be there before the New Year. Plans are revolving around storms.

I want to ski Alpental and Baker SOON.

While not as accurate as NOAA - I did do a quick scan of weather.com for PC UT and got this little gem:

    It's looking up.

Fuck the weather we have been having I went up porter fork yesterday, hoping that by some miracle that there would be some sort of snow to ride on. Not only did I find not enough snow to ride on, but the snow that was up there was surface hoar almost all the way down to the ground...the snowpack had rotted away. Any new snow we get tonight is going to be too dangerous to ride on for awhile(at least in the BC) because of all of the recrystalization that has occured within the old snow

Conditions were so bad that I was able to go mt. biking today in the foothills of SLC. 50 degrees on my subaru's gauge

Yeah, nothing like 3 feet of recrystallized choss.

How far up did you go? I skied there a couple days last week and had some fun on reasonable snow.

I hit the slopes at Alta on Thursday. They had 10+" last night, so at least the conditions will be decent for Thursday. Then next system is where I have my fingers crossed. Hope it hits Alta before my last day of skiing for the Trip, which will be next Monday.

Hey Blurred, if you had crawled out from your cave this week, we were hucking off shit all day Wed, Sat, and Sun into pretty decent landings. Give High Pressure a chance!

Yesterday I hit a compression that blew off a ski and slammed my kneecap into my heelpiece, leaving me a sweet black and blue kneecap. So of course it's dumping now.

Glad you're out there making the most of it.
I was busy buying a new truck this weekend. Spankin' new 4 door dodge diesel that we'll be roadtripping in the next week. If you or any others want to sack up, you've got a ride to where ever has the most snow, whether that is OR, WA, ID, MT, UT or WY.

Ouch. Your surgically repaired kn33? Feel better. And Blurred, patience, snow predicted for most of the week with something shaping up nicely for the end of next week/weekend/into next week.

    Cross your fingers and pray.

Fingers crossed that we all get dumped on... I'm having a serious problem with comparing this season in CO to last...

But it'll come... might not be until March, but it'll get here. I'll drive somewhere else in the meantime

You know it is snowing in the mountains as we speak? Where are you planning on roadtripping? I am going to Eiseman this weekend and then going up to Steamboat next week for a few days.

I think Whistler is going off right now. But I think all of those options sound good. But what if CO gets the most snow?

And where the pics of said truck?

I am going Sunday night to Wednesday night. If your said exams finish next monday, drive up Monday night and we can ski Tuesday and Wednesday. Not that difficult supergenius

And yes, you look EXACTLY like LURCH.

That is what I like to hear shredhead. And I may retract some of my statements regarding the weather system this weekend. The models are trending towards colder temperatures but less precip
