    Arrow Men's GS WC spoiler

damn it!!! Bode had the lead after the 1st run, but got thrown onto his hip about 1/2 way down the 2nd run. It was heartbreaking to see that cloud of white smoke puff up as he scrubbed all his speed. He was killin it up until that point though, .40 up at the spilt. I guess 12th isn't a bad result, but he came oh so close.

however, LIGETY put down a sick run, skiing into 3rd!! I'm worried for his immediate future - he was clutching his recently-broken hand as soon as he crossed the finish line.

www.WCSN.com - for $4.99/month, you get to watch every World Cup M&W's race. Every racer, every run, decent commentary, and ZERO commercials.

Oh and it's a live feed, so I watched the GS today with what i figured to be about a 5-second delay. (I compared it to the live-timing on the FIS website)

Totally worth it if you're into racing...

Some hijack going on here, sorry:

Anyone know where I can get some Ingemar Stenmark footage, especially his last slalom win? I haven't seen that in years, but it is firmly marked in my mind as the finest bit of skiing that I have ever seen.

I flopped down on the couch Sunday after I got home from the mountain expecting to watch, yawn, more football, when I was psyched to flip on NBC and they were replaying the men's downhill from BCreek. That was really fun to watch, that BOP course was eating people alive, Hermanator skied like a pussy, I guess they couldn't handle the stormy conditions, it was sweet to see those guys racing in a full on snow storm. Bode just ripped it up, as everyone already knows, but props to NBC for replaying the race.
