This is how bad winter sucks!

    Look at this poor guy!

This was on the MSN home page... "Winter Storm Blasts Midwest!"

I laugh at people who live in a winter climate and complain about winter...

    Quoted for truth.

I was in Maine last winter for an interview. Some fuckwad at the gas station had the balls to muse about he hates the cold and wished it were warmer - it was about -10F before wind-chill. I said to him, "Don't you know you live in Maine?" He said "Yea?" as if to question what my point was and I just said Never mind, have a nice day.
I do not play Saxaphone, I do not look like KennyG, and I do not like him.

I've lived in DC for nearly 30 years now, off & on - it has snowed at least once every winter, including on my wedding day.

Every time it does everyone acts surprised (followed by panicked,) including the talking hairdos on TV.

Amazingly it is getting like that even in Denver, atleast where the talking heads are concerned. They act like "Oh My God! It's snowing in COLORADO!!!"

At least people don't run to the supermarkets to stock up on supplies like they do in the Mid-Atlantic.

What? An ice scraper??? Yeah, you might look into that. Alot of people in winter climates seem to own one.

Sidenote: If you are driving down a sidestreet, and you meet a jackass in a plowtruck going about 50 while plowing, and he blasts your vehicle with a shitload of super heavy, slushy, rock laden snow... the rocks will permanently scratch and glaze your windshield too...

    who would have known...

    (what a fuckin douchenozzle.)

Im in STL, we has a swet storm last night. I live on the top of a hill, every neighbor that lives beyond it could'nt make it over, even in suv's. I offered my help, but in typical asshole fashion they ignored me and proceeded to shovel the snow off the road so they could spin their wheels on ice. I just sat on my porch and laughed. Good shit.

Overheard in the store yesterday by passer-throughs(?)

"Wow, did you see that sign, it said it was -10 out, gosh it's cold, there's snow on the ground, and there's a lot of mountains around here, I thought Nevada was supposed to be Desert!"

    Fucking idiots. Desert != warm

Nice programming steeze Mcposer. Atleast you live somewhere where it happens often enough that people understand how to drive in it. When it snowed here a few days ago I personally witnessed 2 wrecks in 6 miles of driving. Idiots trying to speed on a big sheet of ice.

Yeah, but I live right off I-80, so it's still pretty bad. The roads around here stay pretty decent (no ice) except for one big nasty curve around the point of a mt. range where the wind blows really hard. It's like a demolition derby the first storm of every year before any salt/sand is on the road! Cars with CA plates all over the fucking median/shoulder/etc.
