    Ummm yeah, it's cold.

I hope you all have fun out there on this bluebird pow day. It's -8 at the top of Collins so don't freeze your balls off.

I'll be sitting in a nice, warm office....wishing I was skiing white, fluffy, in-my-face snow.

    Werd.

Edit: I should note that us Utards don't usually get this kind of cold very often, we're spoiled with light snow, but not freezing ass temps.

I'll be sure not to stop by your desk this afternoon with my wind burned/frost bit face unless I have more mini cup cakes.

-1 and bluebird outside my office right now at 7:45 am. I'm at work while the local mountain opens today after being closed for the last two while it snowed, and I know that dk_alaskan is on his way up to shred it. God I hate work!

got that right... Bear & I woke up to the not so fun surprise of frozen pipes this morning! UGH! and the day after my dad the plumber leaves!

it's our fault - we're in the middle of some exterior renovations, so the area that is frozen wasn't as well insulated/protected as it normally is/should be, and we didn't really expect/think about temps being this cold!

i made some quick fixes this morning after he left for work, and i'm hoping that solves it and prevents bursting pipes- we'll see

meanwhile, we need a heat wave!!!
(i'm thinking 30-35 would be nice)

    Skiguide...

When in a frozen pipe bind a simple hair dryer can be your best friend. Takes a little while but its better than having your pipes burst.

Gonna check out Solitude in a bit, havent worn tha balaclava in a long time but I think today is the day.

3F right now at both Alpental & Stevens. A 'balmy' 13F at Crystal.
that's extremely cold, by Pacific Northwest standards.

unfortnately, it's a comfortable 75 in the office today. At least there's another snow storm coming into the city tonight so should make the drive home 'very interesting'

It was 1 degree when I went out to start the truck this morning. It is 11 now (noon). Supposed to be -11 tonight. This is all in town (at 7,200 feet). I bet it is colder up on the hill.
