Sorry none of the regulars were there to spread the weekly humor.
It was just RA and me (JV) for tonight's ride. He smoked me - after towing me most of the way around. Good ride though (and thanks for the tow!).
I'm working out what days I'm gonna do what during the week, Thursdays are more difficult for me due to work. I have a fairly flexible schedule, but technically it is during office hours. Oh, and I decided to ride outside on the fatty last night... so there's that. I should be pretty regular on Tuesdays.Quote:

The Imperial Century was in the back of my mind too. After getting the free miles downhill from AdZ, then it’s pretty close (another 18-19 kms) and you’d be able to choose flat routes.Quote:

Chode pain was my biggest concern going into this so I did lots of different strategies to minimize it as much as possible. I also took a break at the top of the alp before coasting down off the bike.

Actually feel pretty good this morning. Ass is a little sore, but not too bad. Gonna get outside later today for a little nordic. Just got one of these for xmas and I'm gonna say it helped.

Percussion massages are incredible. Without a doubt helps my legs feel better the next day.
With that said, you guys are monsters. I'm good for an hour on Zwift. Tops.

So I can figure out just how slow I really am, what is the average lap time for the group ride?
First lap is around 17min, maybe slightly longer depending on how well we group together at the start. 2nd lap seems to come in close to 16. Part of that is because we have the pace down.Quote:

Well I just bought one for $100 Canadian from Amazon. See how she goes. I do a lot of foam rolling, lacrosse ball, band and stretching so I do believe in this voodoo. Excited to try it out on some knots in my upper back.

I rode it yesterday and was around 18 minutes per lap but that included a few minute warm up on the 1st and a similar cool down on the last . I'd like to see the wattage average closer to 2/kg before I consider kicking in with you guys though. I'm around 1.5 now.Quote:
