Not saying I know anything in obvious' specific case, but from what I see in general about this kind of thing, its the result of confusion about societal norms and the standard roles the sexes are "supposed" to play. Regardless, if I knew obvious, I'd still accept them as a person.

I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the tone of the thread. I would've expected the anti-obvious posters to substantially outnumber the pro.
