there was an honest-to-gawd 2+ feet in the gut of Glory....for the first 750 feet.

the shoulder was kind of bony for the lower half...actually wound up hiking down.

i was shocked by how much there was. most folks headed south of the parking lot.

Way to get after it. Targhee reports are coming in as excellent.

As for me, I spent the afternoon slaying 6 inches hard...but I did it twice, so it felt like 12!!!

is your knee OK to be out on it? no risk of doing further damage?

does rork expect a repair or removal?

got my fingers crossed for you, man.

yeah...i was totally surprised by the amount of snow and how filled in it was. then again, there was a significant downclimb, but the first 1/2 of the descent was solid and felt like mid-winter.

hope you get favorable news from the good doctor on monday.

I opted to stay home and couch surf...you apparently didn't get my lame 6"-12" inch joke!
I am gonna stick to the rollers until I can get the word on the next step. I might just have surgery next week...shitty, But I have two yurt trips planned for Dec. and New Years, and I don't want to bail. I missed a new years yurt trip with wifey and seven friends a few years ago when I first blew this knee out...to miss two of them due to the same knee would be major suckage.

Targhee was incredible today. A good foot or so on a firm surface.

Sorry, didn't see him. There were about a thousand dogs up there today.
