People who anthropomorphize their pets. Washington state ferries are now allowing dogs to ride on the passenger deck, and all the Fur-Parents are coming out of the woodwork denigrating toddlers and children while saying their precious fue-baby is far better behaved and deserves equal, if not greater, rights than those children.

My parents to this to their dog too, and have on numerous occasions prioritized the comfort of their dog over spending time with their grandchildren (E.g. bringing the dog on family vacations and then not attending outings with their young grandchildren (who they do not see often) because they cannot leave the dog home alone (they can, its old and just sleeps all day and would have no idea they left for a couple hours). It would be one thing if everyone loved the dog, but this dog has no personality, is slothlike, and the only people in the family who are warmer than nuetral on it are my parents.

I am not articulate enough to put the reason into words well, but when people denigrate children and act as though children are a huge, unneccessary burden on others in a public space it really annoys me. ESPECIALLY when they follow it up with a comparison to their angelic fur-baby.

Django, I should have said Rawlins to Lander. But I have ridden through South Pass. The first time on horseback although as a baby so I don't remember much. The second time in a car, and it is a very bad place for your Olds Cutlass to decide it won't go above second gear (auto). After dealing with what passed for a car repair garage in Farson we decided to drive back to Detroit in second.

We were just wondering the other day, where do the kids who live near Farson go to school and socialize? Rock springs? daaaayum.

and why dont the apostrophes and photos work for me now that they do for some others? Fucking junkshow annoys me.

I will say that over my entire life I have been annoyed by kids much more often than I've been annoyed by someone's pet.

But Paxlovid is magic, if you're high enough risk to qualify for it. 1500 bucks for 5 day course.

Today we're going to party at wife's friend's house where you're supposed to dress in the same color as the food you bring.

I can't wrap my head around adults thinking this is fun

Wilderness lake where dogs are only allowed on leash. But dog is splashing around. Dog owner with out dog on leash says to only guy more annoyed than me with his dog on leash where off leash dog comes running to shake water all over him “yeah he doesn’t have good recall and always does that to someone when he’s wet!”

    Cause he’s off leash?

    Shit that annoys you

People doing work calls at the coffee shop. I don’t want to fucking hear about your Salesforce implementation. Wild how a normal conversation is just background noise, but people talking on the phone and especially work calls in public settings is rage inducing. Annoying!

Granny is visiting the backyard neighbors, who are not well loved chez PDX because of constant fighting and borderline abusive parenting. I'm trying to write TPS reports with the windows open because it's actually nice, and she's out there cooing at their toddler at church pastor volume levels. I gave them about 15 minutes and then busted out the leaf blower, they got the message pretty quickly.

Work-from-homers who bitch about perfectly normal, daily neighborhood noise while pounding away at their keyboards from the comfort of their own home rather than heading into the office that is designed especially for them in the city or just simply putting on some noise canceling headphones and going about their business like adults. .

Ha! Fair, and you left out "using their remote tech bro salary to screw up local real estate markets."

This is the family where the dad said to their pre-school age kid "are you going to cry now? You're such an asshole" so we're on a bit of a hair trigger with them

Yeah, I'm sure their kid will grow up to be an asshole and a net negative for society.
Not directly complaining about you, haha but It really is a new phenomenon where people who are suddenly able to work from anywhere, move somewhere, work from their home, and bitch about the daily goings on in the neighborhood. One of my neighbor bitches about dogs barking in the middle of the day, every day, just like they have for hundreds of years. But now that she moved in, and works from home, she expects this to all change to suit her WFH office feng shui.
