    Shooter was sick in the head. Even if he was AN, shooting current fire fighters, over a slight from 24 years ago makes no sense as 1.5 generations of FF have passed through since. This doesnt sound isnt indicative of an ideological problem any more than that Northern Idaho is just an easy target to bash on (deservedly so in many cases, IME).

    I wasn&#39;t familiar with the AN thing either, so I googled it. The site I found was the NY Post, which had this gem of a paragraph:
    Sunday&rsquo;s killer ambushed firefighters after deliberately starting a blaze on Canfield Mountain near Coeur d&rsquo;Alene, killing two of the smoke-eaters and leaving a third fighting for his life. The fiend was found dead near his gun.

    I think there are two truths here:

    1) the shooter was fucked up in the head. there is no sane, logical reason to do what he did.

    2) if you treat trump and the whitehouse as a religous pilgrimage, as those two people in the picture are doing, it is highly unlikely you are a quality human.


    I would bet quite a lot that this kid did what he did because he was denied a firefighting job/training/school.

    What I'm reading is that the guy was living in his car and was pissed because firefighters had asked him to move the car. No history to suggest anything political.
