Heavy, doesn't walk as well as other touring liners, relatively cold. Worth it for the fit though for a hardcharging/hybrid touring boot.
Looks like the Skitalk picture of the new liner got deleted? I can't find it in the thread.

Yeah, got deleted. I took a screen shot of it though. DM your email if you want it
Anyone got any more news on the new zip fit liner? Weight? How high or low volume is it?
Also holy fuck ski talk sucks, if this place dies I guess we could hostile takeover that place, but jeez the level of geezer over there is pretty high.

New touring Zipfit is in the '25-'26 catalog, called the "Espresso" - they say this: "-Low volume ZipFit
- Ultralon and flexalon
foams with cork
- Innovative spoiler
design
- 320g/ liner (26.5)
Wholesale price is only $14 less than a Gara LV or GFT, so budget accordingly.
Would still love to know how it compares to a 9mm or 12mm Intuition.
Want.
Well this used to work, I posted the Sabrina espresso video.

I went back to touring with my zipfits (non gft). It's been awesome except the weight, which is same as the gft. My bunions are very happy and they make intuitions feel like I been skiing with 5 pairs of socks. The weight does suck though. I'm trying to decide if I will do big volcanoes with them :/
Does anyone know if ZipFit has any plans of developing a wrap liner?
I really hope they kept the super durable inner fabric.

I’m glad someone with his resources is talking about heel lift. For too long, those of us with skinny heels have been gaslit into thinking we just need to see a better boot fitter. The problem runs much deeper and the skinny heel tourers have been waiting for this solution.
Nice video, but a few more details would be nice, like overall thickness of the rest of the liner etc.
I’ve never used zip fits. Does the cork pouch/pocket extend over the lateral aspect of the heels or just around the ankle area?
This link may help - shows details of the cork pouch:
https://www.zipfit.com/resources/adding-omfit-cork
The pouch extends from just behind the instep back to the side of the Achilles.
Very helpful, thanks!
I haven’t read the whole thread I admit, so apologies if this is well covered. But I don’t understand the weight on their liners marketed for touring. I believe they’re 550+ grams per liner, so 2x plus an intuition or similar. And then I see reviews of touring boots on say Blister, where a reviewer talks up how how some 1300 gr stock boot skis, and then later sidenotes that they’re running it with zipfits - so it’s really a 1600 ish gr boot. I understand all the positives on em for resort boots but they just seem way heavy for touring. Semi rant I guess, but also a semi question if I’m missing something! Cuz these definitely have a hardcore following and I occasionally get intrigued.
I think that’s the point of the Espesso liner.. it sounds like it’s about 315 grams. So still a bit heavier than an Intuition but hopefully with the Zipfit benefits that Intuition can’t really offer. I have really low volume heel and ankle and low volume touring boots barely exist. I’ve had limited success filling that space up with Intuitions, hence my interest
