I was out doing trailwork this afternoon and a biker who stopped to talk said a homeless guy defecated on one of the bridges we built last summer. No mention of TP so your scenario might be the only solace here.

It's a masked attempt to make people in an unpleasant situation feel more respected, where the actual purpose is to make the well off people using the word feel better about themselves because they have made a public display of compassion.

The fact that a guy I know has to worry about him or his wife and kid being deported because of the color of their skin, in the year 2025, in the United States, as a US citizen. Their friend who is a citizen was deported and instead of an apology, they told him he was "Collateral Damage". He is 70 yo.
