^ Haha looks like I was right behind you. Gotta love the rental Tahoe's with FL tags!

To be fair, that was greasy for me in a subaru with new Blizzaks.

Went for a tour in Upper LCC and mid LCC would definitely have been better. Sunny up top and nuking down low. Weird storm.

Occasionally the flow is just right and the storm parks at the mountain front which causes local convection to dominate and lower elevations get more snow. There was a 2020 storm where Sandy got 18+ inches and the upper cottonwoods got 4-6.

Awesome day at Snowbird. 19" in the last 24 hours and zero lift lines. We all know why

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

I'm not sure, but I would be interested to know as well.

Honeycomb yesterday was very good - roads were terrifying in the AM but the crowds were kept well at bay.

Did everyone stay home today or what? Snow was good to very good, no lines, ample parking, and no snake. Hmmm, what could possibly explain that....

First day in teletubby mode this season:

Nice, and I'm def looking forward to coming back to Snowbird next year.

Skied some real thin lines today, wish we had 2-4 more feet of base but this ain't LCC unfortunately. Fingers crossed for a good February.

Gorgeous day out there. Cold as foretold. Did a lil baby chute, as a treat, for my eleventh sobriety bday.

Some are bolder than i. Looked dreamy across the backyard. Click image for larger version.

Very nice weekend. Good snow, no lines, and limited road fuckery. We could use more weekends like this.

It was a bit chilly though.

After quitting my job at Alta and buying a couple of bird passes two weeks ago I’ve been searching for a couple youths to give our freeloader passes to. Everyone I’ve hit up already has a pass. Hence I’ll just throw it out here that if you know someone under eighteen in need of a bird pass hit me up.

Not stoke by any means, but. If anyone has skied Snowbird for a while you probably know John Pappas. John has worked in the lift department at Snowbird for 13 years, he's a great guy, always has a smile for everyone. Last week he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

A gofundme has been started to help John in his battle with cancer.

I have a couple “ski with a friend” tickets— not sure what the rate is though…
