Putin and Putin's propaganda machine want people to think Ukraine is on the verge of collapse while time on Russia's side. It's not. They want people to think Ukraine can't win. Ukraine can win.

Russia's failing public finances and runaway inflation are increasing the chances of a sudden collapse of power. That's what Putin fears most. The West's and Trump's strongest hand is to convince Putin that he has to choose between fighting in Ukraine or losing power at home

Trump can finish the war in one day. Just need to wait for the right moment!

I agree with you that Trump is foolhardy, to put it politely, but I don't believe his caregivers will let him nuke Russia.

Trump was a fan of his maximum pressure strategy on Iran. It was arguably effective. If he put that back for Iran, and did more for Russia, it would help keep Iran neutered and bring Russia to the table.

This coincides with the Kremlin ramping up their efforts to motivate rod and the other zerohedge readers to get extra outraged about their lost dividends and blame the non-combatant states in the west for the war. Because it's working.

To avoid the slavery of millions. Ukraine still wants this fight. It is evil to advocate that people should be subjugated when those people are willing to fight for their freedom. And incredibly arrogant.
