I won’t use the numbers because the mobile app didn’t seem to like that earlier, but I’m using the top end Cortex, after being in the top end CS with both rivets for almost two seasons. I’m in that silly little corner of the country called New England.

Yes I believe there will be some available in Norway in January. There won’t be many as there are only 1000 in all of Europe but in the fall they will be widely available. I’m working on the dealer list at the moment so once I know where in Norway will have them I’ll update this.
Thanks dude!

I’ve seen so many broken K2 Mindbender boots that I can’t in good conscience ever recommend them
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
It seems like there is some knowledge on this thread, so I will try and learn something here.... Besides, I am interested in the Recon/Mindbender/Cortex as a possibility for my next boot. My goal here is to have a single boot that I can use for a resort boot and a touring boot. (I only tour between 3 and 10 times a year). Overall, I get between 65 and 80 days a year in. I weigh about 200lbs. And my feet are shapped accordingly. Somehow I feel like I pack out liners quicker then most people. That being said, I have finally gotten to the point that I flat out love my current resort boots. Tecnica Mach 1 130 MV's. I purchased the boots new at the beginning of last season, and immediately replaced the liners with Surefoot Custom. I then went through the process having custom footbeds made, stretching the shit out of the forefoot area, and about a month ago added Patriot liner sleeves to help hold down my heels. Finally they fee dialed. My Touring boots (Scarpa Maestrale 130's) are meh... Other than removing the footbeds, I haven't done anything else to them. Again, my goal will be to find a single (resort/touring) boot that performs similar to me Tecnica's. While I have heard, Lange, Dabello and Atomic referenced in this thread, what I am hoping to learn is the stiffness and fit characteristics of the Recon/Mindbender/Cortex as compared to the Mach 1 130 MV's?
