Listened to my body and went back to bed at 6am and slept until 9ish, 10hrs. Woke feeling amazing. The cold I had a month ago has been lingering but think that did it in. Decided to stay home today but pics and reports say Jackass was full tilt boogie today. Ugh.

2024/25 | Inland North West Ski Stoke and Meat-ups

Jackass was full gas pedal today, skied with reckless abandon and was fully rewarded.

Too many amazing runs to count.

First tracks down steep and deep: full gas, four/five turns maybe… holy fuck!

Rendezvous: fully filled in, road gaps easily sent me twenty five ft out.

Prospector: left wind lips in play. Boosty. Machhhed down to below chair four. Two footed pow carves to mid station.

Wardner Meadows: crushed three laps out there, on the last one was getting greedy with my speed and line choice. Pushed my downhill ski into a pocket of nothing (guessing a steam vent) and BG tip folded and I rolled ass over teakettle for like twelve feet haaaaaaaa!

Skiing pow at speed is fucking all time!!

Schweitzer was fun yesterday, again skiing with the kids. Is it always socked in? Third time there and been deep in the cloud every time! Skiing by braille is still fun! Free skiing for kids had me making the longer drive instead of heading to Jackass.

Sunny at Schweitzer. Definitely cruncher than Silver was yesterday. Still fun riding around with my son.

    Silver with the MRS today!!

Skiing really good, little scratchy in the main zones but off piste is soft and fast! Bit of rock showing around chair 3 basin.

I don’t usually go ride on the weekends but I’m planning on hitting Mt Spokane today. Hopefully it’s not too busy….

It got warm quick and bottom half of the mountain was super heavy. Top wasn’t as deep as I wanted to be but all in all, not a bad day for being out on my own for the first time this season.

If this pattern of [emoji637]-[emoji639]” daily keeps up throughout the year it will make for many AMAZING days!

Where are people refilling their airbag canisters? RambleRaven went under, no more dive shops in Spokane. Is everybody going to the scuba place in CDA or Sandpoint?

Paint ball places can fill them. SkiLyft can probably chime in better about one in the dudes garage in spokompton. Lol

Is there a shop that cleans your skins and reapply the glue?

Alpine Shop in either Sandpoint or on the mountain. Probably in town would be better as the mountain shop will be busy this week.

Today was a good day skiing with kids. Oldest got his heel side turns on his snowboard and youngest got off her leash. Hopefully we can move on from the bunny hill soon.

Dense and wet at Schweitzer yesterday, felt like Snoqualmie pass snow.

Today was a significant improvement, no new snow overnight but cold temps plus wind did a nice reset. Was snowing nicely in the afternoon, picked up roughly an inch between 2 and 4pm on the truck.
