I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Anyone touring in the baker bibs? I’m looking for 80/20 resort/touring. I like the baker cause it’ll hold up during cold or wet snowy weather at the resort but a little worried they’ll be too heavy duty/stiff/bulky. I’m obviously not looking for a true touring pant with these but still

The Baker Perm is my touring/storm day choice. They are not bulky and run a tad cold. I imagine the Standard Baker would be GTG for your purposes.
Regarding the fit from the other question...I have a large baker perm and a large chemical pant. They fit about the same although the chemical is baggier. I am 5'10" 200-205.
Well looks like i am stuck with some Black Baker bibs in size large. Something went wrong and i cant return them. Tags still on. Skied one day. No damage. $200 plus shipping if anyone is interested.
Great, thanks for the reply.
Regarding the baker perm vs chemical pant. Interestingly enough the baker perm is listed as regular fit and the baker is listed as relaxed (as well as the chemical) so lines up with what you’re saying. I imagine they are targeting a slightly more touring focused person with the perm which is why they went regular fit instead of relaxed.

I just got a pair of Baker Perm bibs. They don’t fit any less baggy than the tannen bibs I have. Never had the regular Bakers.
Anyone have info on La Sportive Chaser Evo bibs?
Some good deals on the Strafe Nomad bibs - https://www.strafeouterwear.com/coll...U1YOK_K.LbCGKm
what do you guys like for baggy bibs? had a pair of 686 that I liked but they quit making the pair I had
The Strafe's are baggy, and a good deal. I would buy a pair, but I'm too old for the baggy, hipster, look.
Noticed another hole in the crotch of my old TNF Futurelight bibs today.... so I am back on the hunt since those are the last ski pants I've got.
In an ideal world I would have two sets of pants, softshell for spring/high output tours & burly 3L bibs for inbounds/Silverton/deep & slow touring/sledding. With winter approaching fast I am leaning towards going burly first. Dedicated beacon pocket (preferably on thigh), venting, ample storage for snacks/other BS, reinforced cuff, neutral colors... I feel like there are a lot of options with all or most these features so I am a bit perplexed on what to get. Flylow seems to still be a popular pick here, the Stash check most of my boxes. Strafe Nomad seems to have those same features as well, any comparison for folks who have had both? Is Strafe worth the extra $$$? Norrona looks interesting too, The Tamok looks plenty burly, but I can get the other brands for cheaper so it is a tough sell unless they are really worth it. Anything I am missing? What are you bib folks riding in this winter?

I had the crotch split on my futurelight that were a bit ripstop textured. Sent them in over the summer and got a $650 gift card for a new pair. Went for the summit series goretex bibs and like them so far. Only two days in them but the pockets are neat.

I really like the nomad Very burly going through tree branches and breathes very well Maybe slightly cooler due to event but great features and fit I had Norrona before but prefer the fit on the nomad being more Freeride

After digging around I am about to pull the trigger on the Stash Bib from Flylow. https://flylowgear.com/collections/m...48577168638145 Seems like a new product this year, but fits all the boxes I am looking for. Will report back unless I decide against at the last second.
