Looks like there was another G4/G5 CME so tomorrow night should be as good as last night. Tonight has a pretty good chance but maybe only up north.

For the last few years I used Google Maps more than Waze but there are enough things about it that piss me off that I've switched most of the time. Waze sends me down different roads so I'm seeing even more of the Upstate wonders. Thursday and Friday I did another 800 mile loop, made it to within about a mile of Lake Erie, crossed the Canal a few times, scooted through downtown Rochester with absolutely no traffic at lunchtime and did a slow roll through the Fingerlakes. It was a nice, lush green, world waking up from its non-winter slumber road trip.

Went through the Stewart’s in Hoosick in early April on way to magic one Friday am. There I was in a cue full of kids going to school around 7 am, my coffee and two racks of tallboys, seasoned woman at register looks up quick at me and inquires , no work today? No hon. Not today.

Right? I can't think of a single parking lot or day lodge that wasn't being used to serve BYOB drinks. When you run out or want more you go up to the bar and order something. Everyone wins.

Red light cameras, speed cameras, angry old lady cameras... It takes me longer to go places but it's ok because I drive a beater minivan. I pay attention to Waze and frustrate the ones that don't then I watch the show :shrug: Of course it's about the revenue silly man. Without all the geniuses creating the revenue the PDs around the state couldn't be so well equipped (and paid). Slow down and enjoy the show, the Upstates are pretty.
