    Lol.

Did anyone else notice the referee in the oilers game? Big scramble in front if the net. He clearly loses track of the puck and is looking for it to go into the goal and then he climbs the net to try and see it before he finally blows the whistle. Wtf? I get early whistles suck but he really seemed to be waiting to see the puck pop out into the net. Maybe I'm wrong. Then Mcjesus threw a fit about defenseman covering the puck with his hand, which may or may not have happened.

That was a wild sequence. I think the Oilers might be the least likable team in the league.

No, the answer is always Boston.

Vegas and their LTIR shenanigans are definitely a front runner.

Nah. You can hate the rule, fine, but they’ve done nothing other teams haven’t done. You can’t put your captain on LTIR and just assume you’re making the playoffs if you aren’t already incredibly deep.

Cap management is part of being competitive in any pro sports leagues. Look at the NFL. They have contracts deferred for five years to get under the cap.

That argument is made plenty, but hasn't changed the public's perspective. Massive Vegas hate across the league.

Phrases you never want to hear in the playoffs....

    "The battle of Florida"

I think I just threw up.

It's not exactly Dodgers--Giants is it. Tkachuk is no Bobby Thompson.

Pretty disappointed in Oilers D last night, but I think more disappointed that Doughty didn’t lose another tooth after crashing the net.

The booing at Rogers Centre. And the crowd outside.

    I like it.

Holy shit. Somehow Vegas isn’t totally out of this but they’ve given up 30 shots in the first period and a half. Getting totally embarrassed

Did the Caps do what they always seem to do?

The Rags are definitely a team to watch but I think the Caps made them look better than they are. Lindgren also didn't exactly bail them out, can't be letting softies in the net and expect to not get smoked.

Nothing I'd hate more than the Rags or Boston in the cup but can't deny that would be a sweet ECF. I think round two could go either way for both of those teams though.. Panthers and Canes are both solid opponents.

WTF--they're switching channels when games go to OT. Yesterday it was after the first OT, today it was after the 3rd period. Which means if you record to watch later you miss the OT. I'm used to seeing the second game start on a different channel--I'd much rather miss the start than the finish. Although I can understand that it might be painful for Leafs fans.

While I didn't like the ending, it was nice to watch the VGK-Dallas game and watch 2 teams more interested in skating, shooting and passing than in meaningless checks and scrums. VGK showed last season that they could win with discipline.

Yeah. The Caps always end up looking old and slow in the playoffs. It’s hard to get a read on NY because of that.

Big game four tonight for Vegas. Hopefully they can bounce back and actually try to win tonight

They kept putting Ovechkin out there apparently hoping he'd get lucky and have some space. But he was a half to full step behind everyone else on the ice.

Both games I watched he cost Caps a goal. He's a liability. Surely there's someone who can give the Caps 30 goals and a positive plus minus. Saw him in Vegas early season--a chance to see a legend but he just stood around. He plays older than 38. Crosby is older.

Ah, WRONG the answer is the Maple Leafs. The entire country of Canada (outside of the greater T.O. region) hates them, along with most of the eastern US. Most obnoxious fans in the NHL by far.

Avs pull it off. Some fun games and goalies getting feisty. I pity the actual west coast hockey fans, so many late games.

Sunday Edm v LA game as brutal. Didn’t drop the puck until after 1930.

I think even the refs knew it and seemed to hardly blow the whistle. “Yeah that was icing, but…”

Leafs are just tiring out the bruins a little bit so Florida can have their way with them again.

This is incorrect on all accounts. Not sure what team you like, but sorry for taking over your arena on away games (that's usually where this inferiority complex stems from). Maybe instead of being all butthurt you should get more fans out to those ones.

Or maybe it's because every sports website is just Leafs Leafs Leafs all the time. Yeah, we hate that too - but again instead of whining like a 5 year old, just stop clicking on those articles.
